Various programs for children from newborns through 6th graders are available on Sunday mornings at LifePoint Church. These programs start the same time as the adult worship celebration – 10:00 AM.

NURSERY – ages newborn through 3 years old
PRE-SCHOOL – ages 3+ years old through pre-Kindergarten
ELEMENTARY – ages Kindergarten through 6th grade

Fall 2008 Series for Elementary Age Children
Beginning September 7 and running through the end of November, we’ll be using Group’s Bible Blitz ™ curriculum on “Getting to Know God – What God Does”.

What Happens on a Typical Sunday?
Pre-school kids will hear a short Bible story, possibly accompanied by an age-appropriate game or craft. The rest of the time the children are free to play and interact with the other kids in a supervised environment.

Elementary age kids meet together as one group, though they frequently break out into smaller groups for part of the lesson. In small groups the older children have the opportunity to assist those younger. Events related to lesson are diverse and include worship music, games, activities to reinforce the day’s lesson, crafts, skits by the children, and DVD / videos. The goal is to involve hands and feet, as well as hearts and minds, in the learning process.

Interested in Leading or Helping?
If you have the passion and gift, various options to serve exist, from simply being a helping hand to co-leading or leading the week’s lesson. You can serve as often or infrequently as you like – whatever your schedule and comfort level allows. Teenagers are encouraged to help, including providing expertise with sound and video equipment! Adults are required to have a current child abuse history clearance and a criminal record background clearance. For more information please call:
