“KidzLife” Children’s Ministry

Various programs for children ages newborn through 6th grade are available on Sunday mornings at LifePoint Church. These programs start the same time as the adult worship celebration – 9:50 AM.

  • NURSERY – ages newborn through 3 years old
  • PRE-SCHOOL – ages 3+ years old through pre-Kindergarten
  • LOWER ELEMENTARY – Kindergarten through 2nd grade
  • UPPER ELEMENTARY – 3rd grade through 6th grade

What Happens on a Typical Sunday?
Elementary age kids are split into two groups as noted above, though they frequently are combined to enjoy praise and worship music or do a special craft or activity. Each week is diverse and may include music, games, an activity to reinforce the lesson, crafts, skits, puppets, and DVD / videos. The goal is to involve hands and feet, as well as hearts and minds, in the process of learning the truth of the Bible and how to apply it to everyday life.

Interested in Leading or Helping?
If you have the passion and gift, various options to serve exist. These range from simply being a helping hand to co-leading or leading the week’s lesson. You can serve as often or infrequently as you like – whatever your schedule and comfort level allows. Teenagers are welcome and encouraged to help, including providing expertise with sound and video equipment, and organizing crafts and games. Adults are required to have a current child abuse history clearance and a criminal record background clearance. For more information fill out the “Connect Card” found in each week’s program, or call:

Why do we have this ministry?
Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Teach them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up." -- Deuteronomy 6: 4-7
